Zwirn & Co. and an investment banking analyst at UBS Warburg and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Scott joined FPA in 2018. He serves as an Analyst for FPA. Prior to joining the firm, Scott was the China correspondent for Fortune, where he also covered finance and Wall Street topics over nearly a decade at the magazine. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and Public Policy from Michigan State University.

Hiro joined FPA in 2019. He serves as an Analyst for FPA. Prior to joining the firm, Hiro was an investment analyst at The Baupost Group, Silver Point Capital and Partner Fund Management. Hiro earned his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Science and Engineering from Stanford University.

Jason joined FPA in 2020 and serves as an Analyst for the Multi-Advisor Strategy team. Previously Jason worked with a boutique investment bank, Kerlin Capital Group, and as a research analyst for Dorchester Capital Advisors, where he was part of the private markets group investing in hedge fund secondaries. Jason began his career in corporate restructuring with Arthur Andersen and Alvarez and Marsal. He received his BS from the University of Southern California and his MBA from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Daniel joined FPA in 2020 as an Analyst. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Levens-Lowery was a one of three in charge of managing the $20B public markets portfolio at Northrop Grumman. Prior to Northrop, Mr. Levens-Lowery started his career as a valuation and audit professional at Ernst and Young in their asset management group. Mr. Levens-Lowery graduated with high honors from UC Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s in Economics and Accounting. He has earned both the CFA and CPA designations.

Andrew joined FPA in 2020 as an Analyst. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Morovati was an investment professional at Capital Group where he focused on public and private software/technology investments. Prior to Capital Group, Mr. Morovati was an investment professional at Clearlake Capital where he focused on leveraged buyouts, distressed debt, special situation and take-private investments across software/technology, industrials and consumer verticals. Mr. Morovati began his career in the investment banking department of Lincoln International and graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with a dual BA in Economics and Political Science.
Robert joined FPA in 2021. He focuses primarily on business development initiatives with Institutions, RIAs, and Family Offices across the FPA platform with an emphasis on alternative strategies. Prior to joining FPA, Rob was an Executive Director on the business development team at Palmer Square Capital Management where his responsibilities ranged across different client types (e.g., RIAs, Institutions, Family Offices, Consultants, and Banks & Trusts) and asset classes. Prior to Palmer Square, Rob was a Regional Vice President at Guggenheim Investments where he was responsible for the distribution of the core fixed income products in the RIA and Independent Broker/Dealer channel. Rob graduated from SUNY Albany in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts. He is CIMA certified and holds Series 7 and 66 licenses.
Ina joined FPA in 2017. She serves as the Head of Separate Account and Mutual Fund Client Service, liaising with FPA’s existing clients on their operational needs. Ina’s responsibilities also include the oversight of marketing collateral and mutual fund administration. Prior to joining FPA, she was on the Communications and Channel Marketing teams at PIMCO, working specifically with the Consultant Relations Group, Alternatives Product Management Team and the sales teams in both Canada and Latin America. Ina earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of California San Diego. She holds the Series 6 FINRA license.
Andrea joined FPA in 1992. She is responsible for managing Mutual Fund Administration, including operations, client service, distribution and onboarding. Andrea previously served as Manager of Mutual Fund Operations for the FPA Funds with Angeles Securities Corporation and prior to that as Mutual Fund Operations Specialist with RNC Genter Capital Management. Andrea earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of the Pacific. She holds Series 6 and 63 FINRA licenses and a CMFC designation.
Courtney joined FPA in 2019 to focus on business development across the national account, advisory, and institutional channels. Previously, she was a Director in Institutional Equities at BMO Capital Markets. Prior to joining BMO in 2011, Courtney was a Basic Materials & Industrials Sector Specialist at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. She began her career in equity research covering transportation at Bear Stearns and later Wolfe Research. She graduated from Columbia University with a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
Lance joined FPA in 2018. He primarily focuses on Business Development initiatives for FPA Funds and strategies in the advisory and broker/dealer channels in the Midwest. Prior to joining FPA, Lance was Vice President – Midwest Sales Director at First Eagle Investment Management from 2006 to 2017. Prior to First Eagle, Lance worked for the MTB Funds and Calamos Asset Management helping to lead distribution efforts at both firms. Lance earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Finance from Augustana College and holds a CFP designation.
Emily joined FPA in 2020. She is responsible for the firm’s institutional business development and relationship management initiatives. From 2012 until 2019, Emily was a Managing Director and Partner at Palmer Square where she focused on business development, client service and strategies across corporate and structured credit. Previously she was with SSI Investment Management where she was responsible for leading the business development efforts across the outright and hedged convertible strategies. While at SSI, she focused on building relationships with consultants and institutional clients globally. From 2002 to 2008 Emily was the Director of Institutional Client Service and Marketing for the Small Cap Growth, Mid Cap Value and Large Cap Value strategies at Artisan Partners. Prior to Artisan Partners, Emily was a Senior Associate at Wilshire Asset Management (Wilshire Associates) where she was responsible for business development and client relations across the comingled investment products as well as the separately managed account platform. Emily started her career as an Equity Analyst with a focus on semiconductors, hardware and financial industries for the small cap growth strategy at Columbus Circle Investors. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from Mount Holyoke College.
Karen joined FPA in 2018. She serves as the Chief Compliance Officer for FPA. Previously, Karen was the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at First Republic Investment Management, LLC. Prior to First Republic, she worked as a Vice President and Senior Compliance Officer at Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO) and also served as the Head of Compliance for Latin America. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2010, Karen was a Compliance Officer at Macquarie Group Limited and Transamerica Investment Management. Karen earned her Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, graduating Cum Laude and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Felix joined FPA in 2019. He serves as a Trader for FPA. Prior to joining the firm, Felix was a Vice President at Loomis, Sayles & Co where he traded agency MBS and non-agency RMBS sectors. Preceding this role, Felix was a Managing Director at Mesirow Financial. Felix began his career as a structured products analyst at Bear, Stearns & Co, later becoming an Associate Director within the Mortgage and Structured Products sales and trading department. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce, with concentrations in Finance and Accounting.

David joined FPA in 2016. He serves as Chief Operating Officer responsible for the product and client facing functions of the firm including Client Service and Business Development. David also has broader organizational change management responsibilities partnering closely with the Management Committee to further promote operational process improvements and performance benchmarking, and to organize special firm-wide projects. Prior to joining FPA, he was a Senior Vice President at Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. Previously, David was a First Vice President in the Strategic Initiatives and Operational Risk Management Group at Countrywide Bank and Senior Project Manager at The J. Paul Getty Trust. David earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Brown University.
Dane joined FPA in 2019. He serves as Vice President in the Change Management Department. He is responsible for facilitating the change management function, and in partnership with the executive team, and investment and operational leadership, develop, drive and execute key organizational process and change initiatives across the firm. Prior to joining FPA, he was Vice President and Head of the Finance Project Office (PMO) at Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. Previously, Dane was a Manager at Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and a Senior Associate at KPMG. Dane earned a Bachelor of Art degree in Business Administration with a minor in Education from the University of California, Berkeley.
