Contrarian Value - Generalist Analyst

Position Description:

We are seeking a Generalist Research Analyst to join our Contrarian value group focused on a value-oriented, contrarian, and long-term horizon investment strategy.  The position will support fundamental investment strategy portfolio idea generation through conducting deep, fundamental bottom-up research analysis across capital structure, geographies, sectors and market caps.  The successful Research Analyst will be highly motivated with strong intellectual curiosity to support and validate investment theses by conducting due diligence, interfacing with top management, analyzing financial statements and industry press, and collecting distinctive information.    

Position requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years experience in any combination of investment banking, investment management, or consulting industries.  Extensive knowledge and experience in financial statement analysis, valuation and making qualitative assessments with proven ability to conduct in-depth company analysis.

Candidates must submit their resume and a sample research report, with examples that demonstrate ability to provide deep, fundamental analyses, and qualitative assessment of businesses and industries.
